Dans les années 1980, les temples ont été transférés sur un îlot voisin pour échapper à la montée des eaux du Nil (construction du barrage d'Assouan)       In the years 1980, the temples were transferred on a small island close to escape from the rise of water of the Nile (construction of the dam of Aswan)

Situés sur une île à environ 20km au sud de Assouan
